Prenatal yoga practice is a time for deep listening and celebrating life — yours and the one blossoming inside you.

Below are simple tips to keep in mind while practicing yoga during pregnancy:

  1. Listen to your body. If something does not feel right, don’t do it.

  2. Bring attention to your breath. Breathe into your belly and send unconditional love to baby.

  3. Honor baby’s space.

  4. Move with intention, not momentum.

  5. Favor holding poses for a shorter period of time.

  6. Avoid overheating.

  7. Keep it simple.
