ABUNDANCE.

It started off as a backyard boogie at our dear friend’s home in South Central LA, then turned into a quarterly event and is now a way of life.

Since 2018, our sister org, Eat Move Meditate Inc., has influenced social change in the health and wellness space, creating greater accessibility to yoga, wellness and healthy, plant-based foods for youth and underserved communities.

We are overjoyed to announce that Eat Move Meditate is officially a non-profit organization. The love we have for giving back to South LA is only going to grow from here.

Our events celebrate African diaspora and inspire social change through yoga, meditation, wellness education, vegan food, a conscious marketplace and soul vibin' Afrobeats music for our community to promote balanced health and well-being.

Eat Move Meditate Inc.’s mission is to change the way people relate to food, movement and mindful living. Our core values are inclusivity, diversity and accessibility.

A very special thank you to our team, teachers and partners for helping to bring this movement to life: our families, The Jefferson, Sunny Dilinger, Zen Rashed, Carlos Basora, Dr. Pooch and family, Thalia Ayres Randolph, Babas Vegan Cafe, Mama Chingona Vegana, Plate of Hue, JuneShine, Pulse LA, Charlie’s Brownies, Apres, Sol-ti, JUST Water, Nelly’s Bars, Cannibabe, Mint Skin, OLIPOP, Bohana, Glow Rx Skincare, Lend Your Love Body Care, LOT XI, OJAS STUDIO, Scent Germain, Black Women’s Yoga Collective, Better Booch, K + Organics and more!

Amir and I are swimming in joy from all the love that you continue to bring to EMM. We love you, South LA. Thank you for showing up. We cannot wait for our next celebration!

With light and love,

Adrienne and Amir, co-founders of YogiAthlete and Eat Move Meditate
